Fostering a vibrant community where retired nurses find connection, support, and joyful engagement.

The Bulawayo Retired Nurses Fellowship was set up in August 2015 by Orma Dube, Maureen Mpofu, Ottilia Mlingo, and who were concerned with the abrupt end to Nurses’ careers, spanning in some cases 30 years, leaving these individuals lonely and isolated.

Organisations Objectives

  1. To meet, network and fellowship with fellow retired nurses

2. To support each other in times of family celebrations such as graduations, weddings, birthdays etc. and also during bereavement and illness

3. To empower retired nurses with current health-related issues and life skills enhancement information

4. To fundraise for the fulfillment of the Fellowship’s objectives through various events

5. To offer counselling services when needs arise 

6. To provide professional services in health issues and entrepreneurship at a stipulated or negotiated fee

7. To participate in health-related events in the community and any other relevant platforms
